It watches the two things we run for you: this website — which is also where accounts, downloads and licence checks live — and Daybook Cloud, for customers on the cloud plan.
It cannot see the app on your own computer. Almost everything we sell runs on your machine and keeps working when this site is down, or when your internet is. If this page is all green and your app is not, the problem is on your side of the wire — send us a message and we will look at it with you.
A service is counted as working only when it answers and says it is healthy. Degraded means it answers but something inside it is wrong. Unknown means we could not reach it to ask — which is not the same as down, and we will not colour it green.
